Been a long time. Some new art.

I don't know what I think of the first one, but the second is very intriguing. Nice textures and use of selective color. Maybe a bit too much of the filter texture. It seems to be over just about everything and I think it loses some of its punch. Sometimes I make a layer a smart object just so I can use the resultant filter mask to vary the amount and places the filter shows up. Just a suggestion if you haven't tried that.

The shadow/reflection on the door looks like a man. Intriguing. Was that the intention? It's a mysterious composition, I like that. I don't think the cat face contributes much though. Maybe if it were more altered like the other objects are it would work better for me. It was a surprise when I enlarged it. To me, the flames very much resemble human hearts.

Quite interesting. Nice to see more from you.

thanks for the feed back, yes the figure on the door is human, i did draw in a shadow of a man hanging from a tree he also has a ghostly face if you look hard :). hope now i have pointed it out u can see it :P the flame in the door i intended it to look like a skull. but i tried to keep all that extra stuff as subtle as i could, your right about the cat its completely out of place,

im still working on these pics any how so if i get around to fixing them up properly ill post the results :)

I wasn't sure what to think of these at first glance, but the more I look, the more I really like them. Whatever technique you use is really weird, but very effective. To my eye it looks like you painted the picture and then went back with the liquify tool to add the swirly effect and then maybe ran a filter of some kind to unify everything.
Of course I'm probably completely wrong, but whatever you did it looks very cool. Awesome pieces!!

The first one is just some fan art i done featuring Claptrap from borderlands and a comical bicycle girl zombie from walking dead,
for the most part fatboy you are correct, sort of :P its a sort of "style" im working on at the moment, along with a new drawing technique im currently teaching myself,
