Hi All

I have the following problem....

I have 100 folder that I need to run a Batch processing on...
But I also need to rename the picture and be able to save it back to the local source folder...

Is this at all possible in Photoshop?
I know I can do it by NOT renaming the file name!
But I need it to save it whit a different file name but it just overwrites the existing picture in the source folder, but that is not what I need.

folder_1/picture1.jpg --> Thumb.jpg
folder_2/picture2.jpg --> Thumb.jpg

Every time I try to save as it just overwrites the first folder again and again?
Because when specifying the name it goes to the rcorded folder destination.
And when I remove it, then it dosent know the new file name.

Sorry if this dosent make any sence :wink:
Thanks for any help you can give me
:mrgreen:

Best regards
Casperse

There's another excellent tool for bulk renaming of files that I use sometimes, it's called Metamorphose. It has every option you could ever think of and it's free. Do a search and you can find it easily.

Thanks I will look into that... But Adobe bridge did it perfectly.
Still think its funny that there isn't a option to do this when making a Batch...that would be logical.
Should just be a option to use "Save as" with different name and extension to source folder possibility...
