batch reduce resolution

hi, all. i have a folder with 200+ images, 2mb each. i need to lower the resolution of each of them for a project. i'm sure there's a way to do it simply, but i don't know what it is. any help will be appreciated. thanks, boyd.
 
Apply the changes to one image whilst recording an Action.

Go to File/Automate/Batch Processing and you will find your Action in the drop down list. You can now apply it to an entire folder of files.

If you are dealing with a mix of landscape and portrait photographs, there is a tutorial out there somewhere for just this.

Another thing you might want to look into is Filter > Automate > Fit Image. You might want to use this command instead of Image Size.
