Batch editing and adding text to image

Hi,
First post for me here

I have an excel list of about 2000 names. I need to add each name text to a image I created and then have it saved as a separate file. Is there any kind of automation/shortcut to do something like this, rather then manaully typing each name?

try using shortcut keys, you can copy the name in the exel and paste it in photoshop, but you should use type tool first in photoshop before pasting the name, i hope this can help you, in my work i use same process, i put supplier code into a picture then save it. the pictures im editing was 3000 pictures ^_^

is it the one same image or every picture has its own tekst?
I don't know for photoshop, but in coreldraw is such an option that
makes lets say tickets based on batch process, may you google it a bit...
if it was same tekst on the various photos-photoshop batch actions will be the right answer.
