Basic tools on separate panel

Hi All,
How do I get basic tool on separate panel like in the below tutorial Pen Tool and Shape Tools are on separate panels ?

I'm sorry, I asked the question not correctly. I meant to say can I get basic tools in Photoshop on separate panels like in the tutorial they are on separate panels in Illustrator.

I don't think you can. In illustrator theres a flyout button when click on tools with multiple tool options in the tool palette. PS doesn't have that flyout button in its tools.
