It's kind of girly, but I kind of liked the effect.

it happened when I was looking through the blending modes when trying to do a digital distortion effect on it.

so go on then, fire away. no pun intended.

If it were me and I saw that as your wallpaper I would be asking what the hell am I looking at. The original picture would make a much better wallpaper. I would keep fiddling with things and see if you come up with something else. Because this just looks, well, bad.

First off, it's a very cool photo (the original)! If you've ever fired a Barrrett you would appreciate the blowback from the muzzle brake!

As for the wallpaper, for me it would be absolutely blindingly bright!

Meh I did say it was a mistake so I'm not gonna spend much time tweaking it i'll show my original intention later one, you may warm to that one slightly better! XD

Like I said, I like the effect, but I'd probably apply it to a different image with a different context, maybe a dancer or something like that, it might then start to look better and make a little bit more sense.
