Background for a blog!

Hello everyone! I need your help!
My friends and I have a blog and we use a very nice background (see the attachments). However, we would like to customize the blog a little bit, so I need your help.
I would like you to make a background image which has the exact same size and the one attached. Moreover, the background of the background (!!) must have the same color as the one in the attached image.
Most importantly, try to make something that is about the same as the one attached, but use your imagination to make it different and better. Try the use the same colors and keep it grunge, just the like the attached image.
I know that I ask you to make about the same image. My friends and I really like it, yet we want something different so that our blog is more...unique.
Thanks in advance!
P.S. The image file size should not be more than 175KB.
P.S.2. Image dimensions: 1400x920

Seriously MrLOD, this is NOT a freebie type of request. If there is someone who wants to take it on, of course they can. But this is a freelance job, given the level and amount of work.

We can of course give you guidance to make the changes yourself.

I will give it another 5 or 6 hours, and if no one steps forward, I will close the thread or if you want, move it to freelance and give you a link for posting guidelines. Thanks.

Well, I know that I am asking way too much. I was just hoping that someone would be willing to help.
Anyway, please keep this thread open of a day or two and if no one gives it a try, then close it.
P.S. I will try to do this on my own by using brushes, but I don't have many. Do you have any brushes that could actually help me make something like the attached image on my own?
P.S. I use GIMP 2.6 and please tell me how to add the new brushes. I haven't done that for a year, so I don't remember how I did it last time!

If you like that background, why are you changing it, but then asking for something that looks like what you are replacing?

I like the way it was designed. However, about 200.000+ websites use this background, which makes my website a lot less unique. So, I want to make something that is quite similar to this one, so that I can have a background that: 1) I like, 2) Is unique.

OK, I'll leave it open for awhile. As I said, if someone can help you, they will. PM Zeealex for GIMP advice.

For brushes, f it works like Photoshop, you just go to the brush tool, use the flyout menu, choose load brushes, and navigate to the folder where you downloaded them. That's it.
