Hello:
I made a drawing of a window in autocad - window frame, sill, sash etc. I then do a print screen and bring that drawing into PS, reselect the outside lines, and then move it into the drawing I am working on.
Once it's in the drawing I am working on, I trace it making selections and separate layers for each part of the window.
Once that is done and the window has its drop shadows and color overlay it looks like a real window. That is if I use a light color overlay such as white or tan. If I make the window a dark color, the white lines from the autocad drawing are appear.
I need those lines to trace the window. Is it possible to get rid of them somehow once the window is traced and assembled? Do you know what I can do? The window looks perfect except for those white lines.
Before applying the color overlay, I make an adjustment layer and desaturate and lighten it to a mid gray, but the lines still stay.
