I am hoping to photoshop an image of a man into an image somewhat like the pixcell sculptures done by kohei Nawa. Unfortunately I can't post links, but a quick google search will show you his really cool art. I have only ever worked with slight photo manipulation, and never something this big, so I was hoping I could get some tips or instruction on how I could approach this.
Thanks a bunch!

Hi Beshebell and welcome to PSG. You can post images.

I've taken a look at the PixCell sculptures of Kohei Nawa. I'm certain that you could get a nice simulation in Photoshop with some advanced skills. This project would not be for the beginner.
You would need to start by seeking out tutorials that deal with the creation of glass spheres, refraction, and reflections.

Like this one: http://photoshopper27.blogspot.com/2010/05/clear-glass-sphere-in-photoshop.html

Once you know how to create the sphere's, then it would be a matter of duplicating, sizing, and creating the proper refraction, reflection, lighting and so on.

Good luck.
