Hey guys,

Does anyone with a bit of free time and graphic design skills fancy having a go at making a logo for my band?

We're called Big ****** and have an idea of what we are after.

We would like the words 'Big ******' made up in the shape of a Western/cowboy style revolver or a Winchester type rifle. Does this make sense? We'd also like a poker chip incorporated some how, maybe as the O in '******'.

We'd like the logo to be pretty simple and minimalist.

It doesn't have to be exactly as above, but that's the general idea we have.

If anyone would like to give this a go we'd be extremely grateful :)

Thanks in advance!

Edit for some reason it's blocking out the band name so I'll write it with gaps - Big C a s i n o

Hi siblades, welcome to PSG. I have no idea why you couldn't type a word! Your whole post would be pulled by our auto spam checker if it had caught it. But what I don't know could fill an unabridged dictionary.

Here's a design. Too many elements. This might work as a signature or banner. An idea might be to put the text inside the rifle, but then I'm not sure if the poker chips work. I think it's one or the other. Incidentally, I have downsized this file considerably for the jpeg.

Well, I'm embarrassed as I now see you want the text in the shape of the rifle or revolver. Duh. Back to the drawing boards! (I ought to learn to read)

Those are awesome, really appreciate you taking the time to have a go. But we're after something a lot more minimalist and simple.
I've attached a photo that gives an example of the sort of style we're after. Obviously we don't want an elephant in a gas mask, but it gives an idea of the simplicity we're after. Thanks :)

Yes, I figured it was too busy. I did want to demonstrate that the rifle/revolver plus the poker chip was too many elements. I tired but it is too cluttered. Yes, you want minimalist and I tend to "gild the lily," but if I have time today I'll play with it again.
