Any help please : Jpg an gif ??

Hi im wondering if anyone can help me at all...
Ive got a .gif an a .jpg pic i want to merge them both together.

I want the jpg to sit faded in the background of the gif pic. Can anyone tell me how i go about doing this please !

Is .gif file transparent perhaps loading the images would help us understand what would be needed to get your final results

The gif file is black, white an grey an so is the jpg file. Im trying to use photoshop to do it..

open gif in PS and you have 14 layers

make jpg the top-layer with opacity 55 % gives




make jpg the top-layer with opacity 100 % and blendmode "screen" gives

I am not sure colleague did your image but if you're offering someone to be paid shouldn't this be in the freelance section ?

Op's request has been answered, even with his/her limited photoshop usage, taking on Colleagues description they should make good, if not OP needs to open a new thread requesting payment within freelance, OP can pm me or another moderator for clarification.
