Hi everyone!

I've been doing a lot of painting in photoshop for my wife and I was wondering if there any any good tutorials out there that focus on creating realistic clothing, especially sweaters. I googled on different terms such as photoshop tutorial sweater and clothing tutorial sims and nothing useful is coming up. I trying to get photorealism. Quicky/cheap tricks won't cut it. Any information would be greatly appreciated. :)

I haven't seen any Moth.
Although i do believe the only thing you'll find in the end are tutes requiring you to know how to paint with PS.

Hi Moth, I'm sure I had a link somewhere to an OK tut but I can't find it at the moment. While I was looking I did find this. Perhaps not a sweater ;) but clothing all the same.

Here Moth http://www.eyewoo.com/ click on Mixed bag > Tutorials!
We know him from PSG and PST. ;)

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions.

Eyewoo's tutorial was what I was looking for. I was stumbling over how to achieve the proper knit shading. I did not want to individually shade 1000+ knitting loops. :D

Wow that first link is pretty nice. The artist definately has the eye for detail.

And link 2, Ian's site... he's got some nice tutes. He's really good at illustration.

Oh wow, I am going to have to try my hand at that. lots of detail... Thanks for posting that link, you sparked my interest.

Cheers

eyewoo.com is good. I used it when I had to do some PS for my job . It's kinda tricky PS'ing clothes and models and make the clothing pop.
