Another wacko

if you ask me, i think all schools should have a sort of drill for shootings, i'm not going to say that i'm an expert, but i've researched allot about what to do in that sort of situation, and i think it is best if the students know what to do when it happens, so they know not to panic. I beg your pardon if they do or if i sound remotely harsh, but the panic and screaming in the report stated otherwise.
this doesn't excuse the Shooters actions, i don't think there can be any justifiable reason behind acts of violence

the only gun problems here are with motorbike gangs shooting each other.
and we have strict gun laws
so what does that tell you?

if a wacko is going to get it in his head to do it, they will no matter how people prepare imo. Sad, but true

my point is no gun culture means less gun crime.
aus laws let people have guns for recreation (shooting for fun) not for defense.
and no auto/semi-auto guns are allowed.
my point is USA has a "everyone has a right to have a gun to defend them self" which in my opinion just makes more crime.

wackos here just grab a knife and kill poeple

it's easier to get a gun in america illegally then it is legally......... sdarwkcabssa, if you ask me

So when are they outlawing knives?

If your caught with a knife or a gun on your person, you should be shot on the spot.

these news stories are getting more and more popular the world is turning into an even scarier place.

Horrible. I keep thinking we've seen the end of this kind of thing.

You would not believe the number of times various groups have tried to pass gunlaws. This is a big country with multiple states, not to mention immense numbers of lobbyists who represent special interests with very deep pockets. Even now, the federal courts are debating whether the states can pass their own gun bans or not. It's a real mess as there are laws made in each separate state and federal laws, though I believe the ban on assault weapons is no longer valid. Go figure!

I think Zee has a point in trying to teach people to be calm, except it sounds like this school has had preparatory drills, and that one teacher in the story really had his head about him. You're never going to stop hysteria in people when those around them are being gunned down. It just isn't possible. With the release of adrenalin comes the release of fear in order to keep the human body from collapse, and in some this means screaming. Ever see a rabbit shiver and shake after running successfully from a predator? Releasing the effects of the adrenalin.

Even if they do, people that want to do these things will find away around it even if they have to use their bare hands. Granted the numbers they would claim before apprehended would be less but you won't stop things like this until the people that do them are stopped. To me, stop the news coverage and revive ol sparky for things like this.
