I've been wondering how I can create this effect?

Hello again. The image you provided is too small to make out any detail. Where is this from?

I don't need the image to be blown up, it just get's more distorted.


I need to see if I can find a larger version of the original.

But, from what I can see, creating the effect will be similar to the last one you asked about. Your just using the Brush Tool to add the white highlights to the grey text similar to the last text example. Only this time the Brush strokes are a little more random and not straight across.

As I said above, basically the same technique as your last test example you asked about.

Create a background
Create a text layer, make the text color grey.

Add a new layer
Make a selection of the text by clicking on the text layers thumbnail.


Use the Brush Tool set to white and a 1% flow.
Make brush strokes where you want them.


Hit Cmd/Cntrl + D to deselect.
