Another Dark one

I don't know what it is I like about doing these eerie kind of manips, but here is another one

Prolific if anything mate, seriously nice job done again, one small critique the sky/clouds need to be smaller in my opinion, all looks at the same scale if you know what i mean?

hershy, I'm not sure exactly what Paul meant, but I do feel the first sky seems to be bending forward or over (?), a bit overpowering to the rest of the image. However, I liked the first sky better because it's vertical in counterpoint to the horizontal clouds you interchanged. Your horizon elements are very horizontal and I liked the contrast initially. Maybe if those clouds were lessened in contrast and darkness and given a slight blur?

But I like it. And as to the darkness, I'm with you. I like darker images just as I like darker atmospheres in my personal space. Yet I have 2 large windows and 2 skylights in my workspace, with doors in 3 positions. Go figure. I'm just grateful I could find a place with my back to a solid wall and be able to see all 3 doors! A feng shui thing, lol.

Nice work and Paul is sure right, you're nothing if not prolific!

For me the second sky is better as it gives the impression of depth and a distance element as been added, if somewhat squashed.

Just me own humble opinion amung you guys..

As there is lightning in the image i think the first sky fits the scene better as its more dramatic, however i also think the second one would be better and fit the scene more if were doctored a little, maybe some levels or curves and some dodging and burning to make the second one fit in to it more. also maybe a light source in the second sky as the first one has . Then i think the overall image with the second sky would be good.

The image is great now but even better if the sky were doctored.
