Hi, my names carl. I thought I'd sign up as im in the middle of an image manipulation module at university even though I have relativley no knowledge of PS and where better to get help than from people who actually know what the're doing!

I am sure you will pick up plenty of things here
I am not saying you will learn more here than your module at University but I bet you can learn more fun stuff.
However like anything you have to learn the basics first and get an understanding of the program.

And if nothing else you can take advantage of the huge student discount version of photoshop.
