Illustrator Aligning dashed line to pixel grid

I'm trying to draw a logo for web in Illustrator and have recently found a feature "Align to pixel grid" to make the resulting pixel art sharper. I find that gray pixels remain within my dashed vertical and horizontal lines even though the dashes and gaps are all in whole pixels (4/2/1/2/4/2) see my attachement.

Is there anything I can do to fix it more or less automatically?

My last resort will be exporting the art into PSD and removing each gray pixel from within my dashed lines in Photoshop :(

Any advice appreciated!

Take the vector path, stroke it from the edit menu or with a hard brush (I prefer edit>stroke ...). I have no idea if you have mask capability in AI; can't imagine why since ur working with vectors. So import the image to PS, select it, mask it, refine it, and shift the edges in. That might do it.

With my limited knowledge, that's how I'd do it.
