Advice with Graphics Tablets ?

Hi All Noob alert !

Im looking to buy a graphics tablet instead of using a mouse. Are all tablets compatible with photoshop, what is the best size working area to get and can anyone recommend me a tablet thats not to expensive as im on a budget. All comments welcome and if you have any links for tablets that would be great too.

I would suggest Intuos and size of 6x8, I have used them before very easy and smooth.

Intuos are the best in my opinion, a 6x8 size is good for most users. If you're short on cash, there is a 4x5 I think.

Best way to save, buy these things used. Wacom Tablets are built tough and they don't break down. Goto craiglist.com or eBay.

I got my Intuos 3 9x12 for $285 (retails for over $400)
