Adobe Bridge CS4 doesn't display image

I can download my photos from camera into Camera Raw Cs4 but my Mac doesn't display the images . It only displays a blank white thumbnail file which contains all the meta data. I can view each blank image in Photoshop or other editors but cannot see the thumbnail image in Bridge. Any one have a suggestion? Thanks.
 
I solved the problem myself. In Camera Raw Preferences I had the box in General setting on Save Images settings in Camera Raw database. This produced no photo image , just a white blank file image. I changed this setting to Save Images settings in Sidecar .xmp file. Now the image displays as a thumbnail photo.. Solved!
