Well apparantly we dont have an Adobe Acrobat forum in this site nor can I seem to find an answer anywhere to surely what is such a simple formula.

I have created a new invoice template in Adobe Acrobat using the Live cycle designer software everything was going well my calculations are adding up and subtracting just fine.

as you can see it is a simple auto calculated form

But under the subtotal box I would like to have a field labeled VAT a form of tax for people that dont have it in other countries.

And I would like that to automatically add 20% on to the subtotal price or for a bonus have the option to add 20% or discount 20%. It would even be really cool if I can adapt the percentage to however I like and yet still have the form to autocalculate the grand total at the bottom.

so basically looking for =subtotal-20%=new sub total .

So anybody got experience in making this I have even tried doing it in excel and generating a form from that and yet same problem any info I put inbetween the sub total box and the grand total does not seem to hold the formatting.

You're way past my knowledge of Acrobat. I could do it in Excel, but that doesn't really help you, does it?

This is my problem I Need it in PDF format I have not really played with exporting forms in excel as PDFs
I need to make the form so you can fill it in live password it so it cant be edited but can be viewed and then email it etc

I have done it in older versions of livecycle but not really played with the new acrobat X format
