Could anyone gimmie a dope how to emulate the effect of "adjustment layer" for filters usage ? In PS 7.0 such functions does not exist (AFAIK it was introuduced in CS3). Is it possible then to emulate the effect in PS7.0 ? I would like to apply a filter in such a way to be able to get back to filter parameters to change them at every stage of workflow.
For the time being I used to apply a temporary, sort of primitive solution: 1) I create a copy of the layer, 2) apply filter to the copied layer. By doing so I can change "opacity" to adjust the filter effect. Weak points: a) it doest not work if I need to put consequtively several filters on the sama layer (and preserve ability to adjust different filters separately) and b) by lowering opacity you can only decrease the filter impact.
Are there any savvier solutions of my dilemma (except for buying CS3, s'il vous plait)?
