Adding Text to all frames.

I'm sorry if this doesn't belong here.

I am using Photoshop's ImageReady 7 to make animated gifs. I don't know what I did but I used to be able to just type in some text on the first frame and it would show up on all the frames. Now it's not doing it so I'm kind of at a loss. I have the Propagate Frame 1 Changes marked off... but other than that I don't know what to do.

I'm sure it's very simple but I can't figure it out and it's driving me crazy :banghead: so any help would be appreciated.

thank you.

Hello SNEHNE,

I'm not at all familiar with ImageReady, but hopefully someone will come along who is. Good luck.

Hi there... Did you create the text somewhere within the animation sequence or on the first frame? Certain conditions will not allow added text layers to propagate.

I can't load IR now to check as I'm using CS. But I'll check it out later and post possible scenarios and fixes.

Hi... I think I figured it out. I went into the animation window and checked New Layer Visible in all States/Frames and that seemed to do the trick.
I put the text on the first frame and without having that checked it would only show up on the first frame. Now that it's checked, once I put text on the first frrame it shows in all frames.

So thank you
