Im very new to photoshop so please bare with me. Im working on a pic and it had a blue flare across the face of the girl. I did and adjustment layer and dropped the saturation of the blue colored flare. Im curious now how to add a bit of realistic color back to her face. The skin color on other parts of the pic are fine so is there a way to sample color from there and add it to her face makin it look nice?

there are all sorts of ways to do that but a visual of the image may help get minds thinking here. One thing that comes to my mind to sample color is the eye drop tool then create a new blank layer and add the color selected to the new layer till you get it right

as iDad said, using the eye dropper tool and selecting a color similar to that of her face from somewhere else on her ( or someone else's even ) body, and dabbing a little bit of it here and there along the distorted parts and using the smere/rub tool to get a softer and more realistic looking effect. if you set the opacity of the color to a lighter setting as well than can help achieve a more realistic look. That's the simplest way I can think of.
