Hi I want to add a hit counter to my webpage ,please tell how to do it ? thanx

What web page editor do you use? Some, like Front Page, have the ability to add a hit counter built in. If your editor does not, you can always add a remotely hosted counter. Here's a link to a few different remote counter scripts:

I use Front Page and you may have seen my test page where I incorporate a hit counter within a graphic of a speedometer.

I also have an analog clock javascript using the same gauge bezel on the test page. Ultimately, I hope to have an aircraft cockpit type interface with guages and switches for links and other info.

Often times, if you go to a site that provides you with a free counters, they will provide you with the HTML coding to insert into your page (once you fill in all your info). Copy the code and switch to Dreamweaver. Open the page that will contain the counter, go into the HTML code window and just paste the HTML code in place (if you're not exactly sure where that code should go, just go to the main window where you layout the webpage and click on the spot you want the counter to be. The cursor will automatically jump to that spot in the code window).
That should be all there is to it!!
