Hi there,

I'm struggeling a little with something I want do, but not even know how to call it correctly, so it's hard to find anything with forum search or google.

I hope you can help me:
- I use Photoshop (Elements) for drawing/sketching.
- I use a brush with opacity around 30%, so i draw "grey" and it's becomming black when I do multiple strokes over each other

- There's one thing that is driving me crazy: I use a wacom tablet, and the brush strokes will only add up, when I lift the pen from the tablet and start a compeltly new stroke. When I don't lift the pen, it will stay grey no matter how often I move the pen over a certain area. Is there any way to change this behavior (e.g. a setting?)
I'd like to get it darker according how often I move over the area, now matter if I lifted the pen or not.

Regards
Olaf

You can do this by setting your OPACITY to 100% and dropping your FLOW to 10% or less. Play with the settings to suit your needs.

In Photoshop (I don't know about Elements) there is a button you can use that allows you to control your opacity using pen pressure. When this button is off, your brush preset controls pressure.

Thanks a lot! That "flow" hint helped me on the right track!

For everyone else who is looking for this:

The "Flow" is indeed not on the visible user interface of elements, but it is accessible via keyboard shortcut:

With the brush tool selected, press shift key + keyboard 0 (zero) to set brush flow setting to 100percent. (Note: I specified the keyboard 0 not the numeric keypad 0). Or 5 for 50percent etc.
