Hi everyone,
I was wondering if you could help me.
Last month, I purchased a 12-month subscription for Photoshop CS5.1 for Mac. I activated it with no problem, used it for some projects and was all in all a happy customer Since then, nothing has changed - my internet provider is still the same and I have not installed any new software on my computer. A few days ago, my first monthly payment was paid and I got an email receipt. So far so good.
This afternoon, I tried to open Photoshop and was met with an Adobe Application Manager pop-up, which informed me that it could not activate my copy of Photoshop.
??????
It told me I need a working internet connection to activate the product, which I already have, and anyway, the product had already been activated. It was as if the program totally could not detect my internet connection.
I don't understand. How has this cropped up now? According to a help document linked on the pop-up, there could be a problem with my proxy settings. I have no idea how this works, and as far as I know, nothing has changed since last week, which was the last time I used Photoshop.
Could anyone help please? ((((
Thanks a million,
Claire
