Action Error Message

Hi, I'm sick and tired of "The action can't be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program " error message. It appears whenever I have opened a file in Photoshop, made little to no changes and saved it/didn't save changes, then went ahead to relocate or delete the original folder where the file was present. There is no way to cut (I can copy) or delete that folder unless I close Photoshop first.

Sorry if this is not the right place to post this, but I would appreciate ANY help ( have googled the problem and the most likely solution deals with disabling/not using thumbnails in favor of list view in your File explorer (I'm Win 10 user). But thing is, I need thumbnails, too.

OK............I had no idea this was a problem. I've never heard of it.

Other than what you have found on the internet, I'm not sure what else to advise you on. This sounds like it's specific to Windows 10 and not a Ps problem.
