So I was trying to get a background ready, just to keep my Photoshop skills sharp, and the blend mode of one image on top of the other, made the image quite colorful and looked rather like stars.

me being me I rolled with it,

and thus, this appeared a few minutes later...
space scene zee.jpg

these two images were the main culprit:
Rust_and_dirt.jpg
Dirt_Texture_by_Prototstar.jpg

for added color, I popped this in too, and placed a heavy Gaussian blur onto it.

it seems I've become a master of faffing about...

anyhow, comments welcome as always.

Looks great Zee! Very nebulous. Could use a larger (faint) star field. A little on the dark side but that's dependent on what you place in the foreground. A very nice outcome you've managed while faffing!

What fun. Serendipity Zee. It's one of the things that makes great discoveries and leaps in creativity. It may be known as "happy accident," but I see it as intuition at work. An artist's eye is often led by the subconscious which recognizes patterns and possibilities. That's why there is a history of the creative muse!
