A site I run

I think the site looks great, Moltas. It has a very comfortable feeling, easy to navigate, and loads fast.

I did find a couple of little things to point out.

1. The nav bar at the top of the startpage has one small visual oddity. You use three horizontal rules on that page. They are the same length but the top one is shorter than the nav bar so there is a slightly unfinished look. (I took a screen shot). This might be an issue only on my monitors but I checked it with several browsers and they all rendered the page the same.

2. I thought it was a little odd to have the startpage link at the far right of the nav bar. At one point I looked for a homepage button and it wasn't obvious, well it took me a few seconds to notice it probably because my eye is accustomed to seeing it as the first button (left to right).

3. Have you considered using your nav bar at the top of every page? Not the entry graphic, just the nav bar.

4. I thought some of the images of band members could use some sharpening, particularly the bass player... but maybe somebody tried for an artistically soft image. A couple of the other portraits could use some PS work, I thought.

Hey, these are small things. The site looks great! :righton:

Thanks for your feedback Welles. 8)) It was highly appreciated. I am an Opera-user and didn't notice that Opera adds a tiny margin. This means I can't see the black line at all nor that it was too short either [saywhat]

Anyway I fixed it thanks to you!

I also realize that the placement of the 'Startpage' link isn't following the de-facto standard but it felt good to have it there...maybe I have to reconsider that.

Many thanks,

/Moltas

Hi there,

Nice site and it loads very quickly even on my crappy 56k line.

Some random comments:

the cd box, I think you could spice it up a little by adding a little shadow for it...

The track names, I think you could be a little bit consistent in the case of the names. Either all of them start with caps, or none. IMHO, it looks a little amateurish with some of them starting with uppercase letters and some lowercase.

That apart, I really like the clean look of the site that most "band sites" fail to achieve. It conveys what you want to tell the visitor in a very straightforward way. Good job! :righton:
