My last 4 computers were Dell computers.
Two laptops two desktops.
Over the course of the years 3 of the 4 have had an in-warranty issue.
A noisy fan on one Desktop, a bad back light on one laptop, well into my extended warranty, and the problem with my new 1 year old laptop.
I turned on my laptop two days ago and it didn't seem to turn on.
It has an SSD so it's very quiet,
Turns out it was on but the the screen and keyboard didn't work, although with repeated try's I could get the computer to finally work.
I called Tech Support yesterday and talked to a guy named James.
He walked me through some tests and diagnostics, diagnosed the problem, and set up and appointment for a service tech today.
The tech showed up today at the time promised and I'm back up and running.
