A Safe Page Width?

May I ask a quick question?

Whats a safe page width for websites nowadays? I tend to go for around 1000 - 11000 pixels, but wanted to know if I could push my luck.

950 px is the safe guideline but many people have 1080 resolution just make it fluid for absolute safety

As Hoogle has allready stated the 950 grid usually is a safe bet.
