A book.... created using Photoshop

Hello and welcome!

Great job. The actual book looks a bit strange to me at the binding. Perhaps it's something I've not seen before. Maybe side stitching? Was this created from a reference? If so, do you mind posting it?

That is excellent effort. Very nicely done.

At the bottom section of the book, you have shading - this also flows on top of the cover. I am thinking if that could be avoided, because same amount of light would fall on the whole of the cover page.
Also I might have used a similar texture as the face on the side as well - maybe also with the name of the book on the side?

It is so refreshing to see a First Post in the 'Show Your Work' section.

Keep creating and keep inspiring. Hoping to see more of your work.

Hello @IamSam

This was created in 2015. I think i used this (the pic) as reference for the binding and the drawing on the book. I didn't have a graphic tablet back then.
Yes, it looks strange. I didn't correct it or edit to make it look better :)

Thanks @polarwoc
for the suggestions :)
Will keep posting.

@mcurious Thanks for the reply. After seeing the original reference, I understand the binding. I still feel it's not quite right, but it will do. Overall you've done a great job! I really appreciate the texture and the figure drawing. I agree wit @polarwoc on his suggestions as well. Thanks for sharing.
