3D 3d beatle logo help

Hello. i'm new to photoshop and i want to recreate the 3d look of this Beatles logo. The text arc, the 'bulge' and particularly the 3d trails that meet at a vanishing point. Any in depth tutorials would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Hey Jarrod, welcome to PSG.

This is a 3D text effect, but I don't think it was created with Photoshops 3D engine. I will look for some tutorials for you.

Unless you would want to mimic the Beatles' Budokan stage backdrop look with the static light bulbs along the text or that of the plain look of the bootleg Beatles....
