Hey guys, first post here and glad to join! can someone help me color in the rest of this drawing as I'm not really good with markers, if possible? Prefer a deep reddish/wine and or white/blue'ish. Thanks!

Ever thought of coloured pencils instead of markers?

Yes! colored pencils, pastels, water based paints, chalk, and some others. Unfortunately I've messed up a few drawings as I'm just no good when it comes to coloring at all, so I mostly stick to black and white for the most part haha.

Here's the second one. I tried fillding around with this one however I stil continue to get a "matte" and flat color. I've vectorized this one in illustrator however considering that i saved it as a pdf fille, I'm afraid that I'm unable to attach it here, so here's the rough sketch version of it.

What exactly are they to be coloured in for mate, why not just leave as a sketch and put a photo of cars next to them off the net

Well my main goal was to try and take this design and PS it onto a real car, and I've tried that, but it's just that it's a little difficult when it comes to making the whole end front end from scratch. Or is there some type of easier method I can carry on about doing this that I'm not aware of?

From what I have up there onto here basicaly.

What are you going to do if you have more cars in the future that need to be colorized?

Well then I just have to color them in, haha I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't practicing. I just struggle when it comes to finding the proper colors when it all comes down into doing that. I come up with a mockup of the sketch that I have on a regular 8.5x11 sheet of paper and start coloring on that, but if I make the wrong mistake and color a certain part a little too dark - I attempt to erase it, and I end up ruining the drawing completely.

Considering that my sketchbook is made up of completely black&white drawngs, I'd love to add a litte more color to give it some type of variety.

Here is a suggestion:
you can duplicate the layer (for saving purposes) add layer on top of the duplicate then add a gradient put it in darker mode, there are plenty of other modes that you could play around with it, will be a preference thing

There will be a selection process involved to get just the car but I'm lazy I did a whole layer

This thread baffles me, if you do not plan to scan the sketches into a program and digitally colorize them.............find a copy machine and copy the original and only work on a copied version.

Personally, I prefer the Colored Marker versions.

Sam, I think what he wants is obvious: He wants someone to do the remaining work for him, but doesn't want to come out and ask in those terms. Some day, the OP may improve his photoshop (or manual coloring) chops, but right now, he can't do it himself. So, I think we should simply regard this as a freebie request.

@OP - There is absolutely nothing wrong with a freebie request, it just that you will have to wait for one of our members to come along and be interested in doing the work for you gratis for whatever reason motivates them to do so, ie, practice, showing off, interest in the subject matter, etc.

I'm not good at coloring, So I go backwards...start with the colored one, and remove the color.

Thanks Tom M for saying what I was thinking.

Trust me... he will eventually find someone to do it for him, don't you worry Tom. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against pleasing people with freebies, but I wouldn't like to see it becoming the main focus of this forum.
This is a foregone conclusion on both!
