    Hmm yeah it might be the only fix, a bit annoying to do I will see how patient I can be with it.

    I tried the reset, it didn't fix the levels adjustment annoyingly, oh well I will just adjust my workflow to suit.

    Not the same experience for me, I never had to press tab until something changed yesterday, with Image > Adjustments > Levels adjustment. And when I use a levels layer adjustment, I have nothing highlighted either. I'm unsure if I did before, I don't really use it that way as much.
