    hi Argos. thanks for the advice. i will look at colour and contrast tomorrow. also when do you know to use , normal, soft light etc. they all do different things? good luck with whatever you are doing. hey i just bought myself a Wacom tablet £70 so i will try use it tomorrow.

    ola senior. thank you.Argos I am on the macbook pro. so i only have the laptop keypad. i think i will get myself a wacom is that the best step forward as i don't think i could use my finger tips well. alternative i could use the quick selection tool but it seems not to like the black and white.

    hello Argos. so when you have a different colour around the edge, can anything be done? i can't even seem to extract much good colour from it. i.e. yellow t shirt around the neck. thanks for your time

    hello Sam good to hear from you. I can see the whole picture. it is a different colour around the edge (border) where the photo frame has been. the rest of the picture has colour faded. is that what you see too?
