Nice! See that's exactly what I was looking for, thank you Chris! The most important part being the subject is what I let lack here, dang. There isn't much to the story and that was a huge oversight in just trying put it together. I appreciate it tremendously. Cheers!

    Trouble Uploading

I got it loaded to the show room. I think my original file size was too large. Thank you though.

    Steampunk Limousine

I was just looking at it again and caught something that might be cool? Than again it might be too much. The far guy appears to be smoking a pipe? You have exhaust or steam coming from everything else, but maybe add it to this guys pipe as well? Maybe you already did this and didn't like it? I...

    Bananas

Hi all! I'm still trying to get the hang of getting my composites just right. I see a lot of flaws in this image, but I think it's still salvageable. Maybe blur the gorilla a bit? A constructive critique could surely help. I like it, but I feel I could do more to make it better, I'm just not...

    Trouble Uploading

Hey gurus! I'm trying to post to the show board for some CC (constructive criticism). I can't seem to upload. I keep going to upload and it shows the image loading but never finishes nor appears available to upload. Is this an operator error? This is probably something that has an easy solution...

Well done! Great catch by chrisdesign on the lighting! This is great as itself or could be a great background for another composite.

    Creative Cloud

Thanks, I'll try to figure this out. I appreciate the tips. Let me check out this library syncing stuff. Do I need to do anything special?

    Creative Cloud

Hey all quick question I'm hope to get some resolve to. Anyone in here familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud? I recently switched over for CS6. My problem is after downloading it to both my macbook and iMac it doesn't appear to be the same account when I log in. My iMac says I'm on a 30 day trail...

    #2

Thanks Tom. I'm not sure what my intent is really. For a long time now I've been trying to dial in a Topaz Adjust kind of painted look for potentially doing concept and composite pieces. I appreciate your feedback. I'll try some with natural backgrounds soon. Thank you again.

I'm still trying to dial in this effect. Here's my number #2. I'm looking for thoughts, suggestions, tips, advice, and most importantly honest feedback? I really like this style, but it's not for everyone. Thanks all.

Thanks Sam and Tom. Again, I appreciate the feedback. As for the posting, being new to the site I just want to make sure I'm posting in the right places and such. Cheers!

I appreciate that. It's taken me much longer to do and learn than I would like to admit. LOL. I wasn't looking for the Dave Hill or the Dragan effect so much and I don't have Topaz. Yeah, 50% grayscale keeping it nondestructive. I found a couple other ways to do it too. But this one was the 50%.

Having a hard time uploading files. Hope this works. I've been playing around with this sort of HDR look to photos. I like this style a lot and want to do more with it and add in some composite work fro some concept ideas. Would love to get some feed back on this style and look. I'm not using...

How do I create this effect?!

I think I (you, whomever) could duplicate this image by taking a picture of a sweater. Desaturate it and then adjust the threshold or gradient map. This is just off the top of my head, and I could be very off, but it's the first thing that comes to mind.
