    Web-Site design advice!

Very nice :righton: I love the subject matter. A buddy of mine has turned me on to a couple of books dealing with symbolic geometry (we both belong to the Masonic Lodge). It's quite enlightening stuff. I'll stop by again. Rich

    comment this book cover!!!

I hate to be a wet blanket but it's a little busy for me. Some things I can't figure out. What are those objects at the top left and top center? Is it a catalog for office furniture? I guess it's true...you can't tell a book by it's cover. Rich

I believe that if you hold down cntrl+alt+shift while PS loads it will pop up a window asking if you'd like to delete the PS settings file. Select Yes and PS will delete it and make you a new one. That should reset it. Rich

    Name that (music) artist

MsOz is right! :righton: Rod come to town a couple of weeks ago and a vendor approached me with some free tickets. He really did a great job. His range isn't what is used to be but he knows how to work a crowd. I took the photo's freehand with plenty that had to be thrown out. I had a...

    Name that (music) artist

One thing I love to do is watch people who are masters at their craft (which explains part of why I love this forum so much). I had a chance to go to a concert recently to watch this gentleman and although I'm not a huge fan, he blew me away. He's been with us quite a while and his performance...

    Cafepress

I'm working on a book cover for someone over at CafePress. I'm not sure how the whole thing works because I'm not a member but it looks interesting. Anyone here do this as a business? It looks like it goes like this.... join, work up a logo, sell it on a coffee mug, t-shirt, etc. for no...

    Calling all Guitar Players

thanks for the tips vee, I've started with a couple of the kids and am using the Mel Bay materials. They seem to be having fun with it (I am!). Once I get a little more used to this I may put an ad in the paper for more students. I'm discovering that my house isn't exactly ideal for this...

    Digital 'vs' Traditional?

I use a little Sony DSC-P8. I love it! I keep it in my pocket all day at work. I mostly use it to capture little moments so that I can pass them on to other engineers who would never believe me otherwise. Yes sir, it is possible to install that part upside down...see!. I do find the lag...

    Calling all Guitar Players

Thanks for the tips! I admit I'm a little nervous about doing this. I'm afraid I'm going to get some really talented kid and mess him up forever [confused] . Part of my plan is that my kids are the same age as the ones I'll be teaching so I'm hoping that gives me an advantage in that I can...

    Calling all Guitar Players

Sorry if this is waaaaaay other interest. I know that there are a number of guitar players here on the forum. I wanted to tap your brains (rather than a guitar forum) because I've come to value your opinions over the last couple years. I was approached by a homeschool group to teach guitar...
