Remove football pitch

Please explain to me how can i remove the football pitch without lines and footballers ?

Hi Daryl
I don't know how familiar you are with Photoshop, yet it's pretty straightforward.
Under the original image Layer, put a complete black Layer
Then, with the image Layer selected, you select all the green areas with the magic wand tool or the polygonal lasso tool (or whatever selection tool you want to use)
Turn that selection into a mask for the image Layer. With the mask in the Laye Panel selected, invert the mask with Cmd + I (or Cntl + I on a pc).
I did a partial selection to show you a quick result.

Hey.

I would use "Color Range" to make the initial selection, then add a layer mask.

It won't be perfect ....

But you can clean it up with the Brush Tool on the layer mask.

Firstly I made a duplicate and placed a black filled layer beneath it. Using the duplicate, I selected the players, white lines and goal (roughly) to alpha channels, activated this channel and reverted it so that everything, other than the players and lines were selected then applied a hide-all (black filled) mask.
