Well it is not easy to say without the images severl plugins can do it or you can do it yourself by selecting the skin and go to filter > blur > surface blur or Gaussian blur. and then you will need to colour correct etc.

i got 2 images in my office hard disk 1st one original and 2nd one smoothed, and i know that the designer who worked before me did this but he is not telling me, pls help me

just tell me smoothing rest i can do, but i am unable to achive this super smoothness even u zoom at any level , blurs are destroying the shine and it lookl like matt, pls help me

Hoogle is right. Blur seems to be the only salvation here.If you need smoothness in specific areas, you may try blur tool or even smudge tool...

like already said just blur the skin.
here is my attempt took less then 5min (only did the face)

and tell the guy that was there before you that he didnt do the best job on it anyway.
you can see the blur on the chin and a few other places

Plus, I found that he managed to screw the area around her ear as well. I easily prefer Dataflow's attempt over that designer dude. Oh, and for future's sake, don't take any work unless you know exactly what you're in for. You won't have to go through the same pain and trouble again that you're having right now. :)

If anything, Dataflow's work is superior. There is such a thing as too smooth, and the blur in your artist's PS job is too noticeable, not just by the ears and lips. I think you can really notice how excessive it is throughout the cheeks and chin.

Relax. You'll get it; and maybe you can educate your clients as to the level of smushing pixels.

mm hmm. Where are you from ghost?
I guess I'll update my personal info and the like as you seem to be a pretty curious person.

Anyways, as you can see on my now updated location, I'm from the US. Though, I've lived in the UK for some months here and there when my mum would take me along to her parents/brothers/sisters/homeland etc. in summer vacation. That's where I get the slight british touch in my style of speech/conversations. And, I've read (or seen the pics to be exact) books of famous photographers that travel around the world. From the pics of a book which was showing the Indian culture, I made this quite accurate guess.
