Hi- I'm new to photoshop and have a pretty basic question. FYI...I have Photoshop 6 on windows Vista

I have a JPEG image that I would like to scale up for print out..essentially I would like to split the image up into 4 segments and then expand each segment (each would need to be 8x10"), print them out individually and then paste together in order to have the total print out be 16 x 20". Is there an easy way to do this?

I would appreciate anyones assistance

thank You

fairly simple procedures create the document size you want to end up with at at least 300 resolution. 16X20in then open your jpeg Select your four corners separately Copy one corner at a time go back and forth from jpeg to new doc. Paste your copy onto new doc. You will have 4 separate layers to move as you will, then resize them the dimensions you need although depending on the jpeg the resolution may not be so good for print ..oh new doc, create it as CMYK

or email me I'll do it real cheap ;)

Tons of way to do that. Select image/canvas size, select 50%/50% and pick the corner that you want to print. Print, undo and repeat for different corners.

RE: still not sure

Ok- how do i actually select each of the 4 corners so that they are equal (8x10)? i literally just got photoshop so if you could walk me thru step by step i would really appreciate

thanks
