Profile picture needed for facebook page, $60

About me:
I'm a pop pianist looking to create a unique facebook page with creative pictures, and I would like the pictures to be based on the theme of music (Chinese music, if that matters).

1. What type of work is needed?

Creative design is encouraged

Hmm, I'll try explain this lol, English is not my first language.

Profile pic:
- merging original picture of me with your design of background or use pictures of the nature provided below or something similar.
- remove background, as well as the books and tags on the piano
- color the keys on the piano (use 2nd picture for reference)

Cover pic:
a piano with a background of the nature, see below for example.

2. What is your budget?
About $60-70, depending on the impression of your demo.

3. A full description of the work required.

- I want to have a picture that looks like one of those we see on magazine (shiny polished etc), as well as creative use of other pictures or any design of your own.

- Smooth out the picture would be great, since the picture quality isn't that great.

- one thing i have in mind is that, the white/black keys on the original picture, is changed to the color keys, like the second photo, in other words, apply colored keys on the original picture.
Hope it's possible.

- removing the books and tags on the piano

- I don't really like the background, especially the poster, entire change of the background is excellent.

- I would like to add "Matthew Instrumental Music" title (and/or "MIM" as short form) on the picture as well (I want to receive the final picture with the title and another one without, so I can change the name of the title in the future, without redesigning the whole thing)

e.g. (please use your creativity, I'm just explaining with example)

Fonts should not be too big, read-able is fine, unless in a designer point of view, you think it's necessary to make them bigger for matching with your creative work.

- generally, I would like the picture to feel like I'm playing the piano in a virtual space

- original Photoshop file is needed (PSD), so i can make small/basic changes in the future, like changing text/title name.


4. Deadline or approximate time frame.
- Time is about a week, I need the pictures before I can fully launch my content. However, I highly prefer quality over speed.
- If it will be longer than 2 weeks, we need to communicate about the complexity or difficulty of the work involved.


Final Thoughts:

I have very little knowledge when it comes to Photoshop, sometimes I don't even know what I want, so if you have any questions to ask me, feel free to do so.

I'm new to this forum, not sure if it's ok to ask for demos (putting a stamp on the picture?), if yes, it would be a great evaluation before I pay.

It would be great to see your previous work, so I can get the gist of what I will be expecting.

If you are putting up a draft, please explain what you will be adding next.

It is customary for the artists to post their work with a watermark. This way you can see the choices as they are developing, ask for changes, on more than one if you are serious, choose your final design(s), and work out changes with the freelancer.

Do you think it's possible to put me in a virtual background like one of those you designed, "premade ground" etc? (a different background would be needed though, to match the piano theme, a rainbow maybe?)

for the profile pic, I really like the concept; however, there are some concerns:
- preferably more focus on around me by keeping original of my size because profile pic on facebook is kinda small
- colored keys don't look too good like I thought. If it can't be more detailed, we should forget about that.
- feels like too dark

For the cover:
- it seems better to have just the piano in the middle and blend with the background.
- i would like some artistic HDR effect if possible

Actually, the pic of you was same size. It's the BG that's larger! Anyway, I made the BG smaller and lightened it overall. I could leave the placements as they were in the first and shrink the BG around it if you prefer. The keys cannot be in more detail because the photo does not have any detail on the keys. In fact, there is only so much I could do to improve your portrait. I'll try a thing or two more later on, but without a better photo, there might not be improvement.

As for the HDR on that particular background, no can do. It is already pushed as far as it will go. Probably treated with HDR already.

Here is a profile pic utilizing the green lake. I imagine you'd like the lake transformed to a smaller size or cropped. Please let me know if this is going in the right direction. I've done about all I can do with your portrait photo.

Sorry I'm a little bit confused with the term "horizontal to vertical proportions", not sure what are you referring to.
Maybe like 4:3 etc? yes, I would like to see 4:3 aspect ratio.
