Logo request badly need help!!

Hey guys, I'm new to this board, I really need help guys. I'm opening my own auto shop/ high performance which is due July 1st for grand opening and I've spent the last 3 days trying to make my own logo, watching videos on everything and I just can't, I guess I'll stick to cars. I kind of edited a design and added my own colors and to be honest it looks like crap but It's kind of how I want it to look. Any help is greatly appreciated I'm very desperate. I tried making the S look like it's part of a circuit track. I'm not sure if any of you can improve my design or just make a completely new one that's amazing.

I could certainly improve it for you...

But for an excellent new design, we do have a freelancers that would be more than willing to help to give you an excellent design at very reasonable rates.

If you could improve it I would appreciate it just so I can see if I even like my idea. If not ill certainly try the second option I'm quite desperate for this logo.
 
I saw this last night but it was too late to try something. However, I thing what you came up with originally is decent enough. I'm sure Inkz will do something awesome, he usually does.
