How to do this..

Hello all!

I'm new here and this forum seems to be fairly active so i'm hoping for some help. I'd be forever thankful!
Anyways, i'm also knew to Photoshop after learning web development for 3 to 4 years. However, for my new project i'm wanting to do some web graphics similar to the ones below.


I've spoken to the person who creates these, however he costs $100 roughly per design. But that doesn't matter now because i want to create my own. Could someone explain to me how YOU would design these. I will give one person roughly $10 for a nice explanation of how to do it!

guy sales the fish to you for the 100$ each,you're asking to be taught how to catch it, and willing to pay 10$.True is that you may continue the payments or put some effort in learning the ropes,and as may see here, the guy that sells the fish knows how to do his job and we shouldrespect his work.

I think the fact that somebody sells the fish does not mean others cannot learn fishing when they want to ;-)
