Another Madonna's Effect - The Last I promise :)

Here is something similar (Make sure to put world wide web in front of the link once you have copied it. Apparently I cant post links until I have at least 5 posts, which is counter productive when trying to help someone!).

Once you have got to that stage, you could simply cut up the image in slices and place them so that they are slightly out of place as in the image you posted.

Thank you for offering your help. The minimum post before being able to post a link is not meant to be counterproductive but to eliminate or minimize spam. At least if you post one with a break in it, we know you're a person. :D
 
Well, it certainly is 3D look that makes it so good. And using the 3D tools in PS you can get this effect. Just from the top of the head: use Repousse tool to make reflecting folded surface...
 
I gave this a shot with a picture of my son. Not as good as the Madonna picture, but it was worth trying out.

Main distortion was made with Displacement map only. Then I added some ajustment layers and a layer with glares.
The project stored on my home desktop. I`ll show whole stuff in 2 hours.

raikkonen, please reload your images and wait for them to upload entirely before posting. If this doesn't solve the attachment problem, go into manage attachments and use that window to upload. You may be able to view the attachments on your computer but they are not loaded for all to see. Thanks.
