Hey guys,

My friend recorded a new song and I didn't want to see some lame picture for four and a half minutes on youtube and neither do you.

Contents may contain subject matter offensive to certain viewers.

It actually took more than a day to render it on my (terrible) PC ..im talkin bout 30 hours
Settings: 1280 × 720 - D1/DV NTSC (0,91) - frame rate 29,97 - Quicktime JPEG

Okay so basically I stole some ideas from Tutorials but hey ..let's say i got inspired by them. After all this is my first adobe After Effects project ever, I've downloaded the trail version two weeks ago (06-02-2012) and I'm pretty happy with the result. Because I have never used something like After Effects before I started to watch some tutorials.
I used the following tutorials:
- "#33. Graffiti writing" (VideoCopilot)
- "#113. Light Glow" (VideoCopilot)
- "After Effects Audio Waveform/Spectrum Tutorial" (YouTube)

Most of you won't understand the biggest part of what he's saying and the words on the floor but that's because it's a dutch rap.

Let me know what you think of the result and give me some usefull advice if you're able to. Im completly new to the forum too btw and I like what ive seen here so far.

Hello TRCmusic great job on editing I have edited your post and taken the embedded video out due to bad language and because some of the lyrics may offend people and be seen as racist. So it is only fair to warn them before they click the link.

We are a suitable for everyone community so would appreciate it eveyone kept it safe for all to see.
 
Okay ..sorry for that, my friend and I are black though and we are not racists at all haha. Actually the opposite.

I was not implying you were just so we are clear I was just making sure people are warned before viewing as not to accidentally offend.

Nice editing I recognised video copilot stuff.
 
lol... I was listening more on the guitar work. Old habits never die...

Interesting video... Editting is good. Not that I've done anything like that. But from what I see, it's a great start with what you're doing.

Doe wat je goed in bent.... Hope google translate said it right.
